Janet Rice on war powers reform

When asked if she believed Parliamentary approval should be required before Australian troops are sent into armed conflict abroad, Australian Greens Senator for Victoria Janet Rice responded that there should be reform. Senator Rice also gave a speech in support of reform during a reading of the Greens’ Defence Amendment (Parliamentary Approval of Overseas Service) Bill 2020.
